0-2 Toledo is a favorite over 2-0 Kansas in Friday night football.
They are a favorite despite losing their last 7 games to BCS schools by scores
of 39-10, 63-14, 63-21, 34-7, 51-25, 37-19, and 31-21. So why are they
favored over 0-2 Kansas? It probably has something to do with their
strong home field. Before losing to Northern Illinois in their final game
last year, Toledo had won 34 of their last 35 games in the Glass Bowl. Both teams have shown some poor pass defense, with Kansas' 21-19 win at home
over Louisiana-Monroe a lucky one, as shown by the 377 passing yards that they
gave up. Toledo was similarly torched by Western Michigan's backup
