Sportsbook Sharks should attack when they sense blood in the water.  But sometimes football fans and administrators shouldn't go for the kill right away.

One of the more intriguing college football matchups this Saturday sees 5-0 Rutgers visiting 5-1 Navy, and before we get to a crucial wagering lesson for all Sportsbook Sharks, let's look at an important lesson on patience for football fans and administrators.

Following the 2002 season, Rutgers and Army may have been judged as the two biggest dregs in all of college football.  In the previous 4 years Rutgers was 7-38.  In the previous 3 years Navy was 3-31.  Coach Greg Schiano of Rutgers was 3-20 in his first two years.  Coach Paul Johnson was 1-10 in his first year at Navy.

Importantly, the administrations didn't give into impatient fans demands, and both these teams were bowl clubs last year and will be this year, as they have combined for a 10-1 record thus far this season.  Though they had combined for 4-30 at their schools following the 2002 season, their fans are now thrilled to have these coaches around, as they have combined for a 10-1 record.

Now for the blood in the water for bettors… as the Sportsbook Shark checked this game at both Pinnacle Sportsbook and Cascade Sportsbook, Navy was a 2½-point favorite at both.   But bettors at Pinnacle could play Rutgers at +2½ at +103 odds while Cascade bettors could lay the 2½ on Navy at -105.

With +103 on one side and -105 on the other, this is the equivalent of -101 juice, offering a 90% discount on the vig that bettors in Vegas and traditional -110/100 shops were paying. Now that 90% discount may not be available by the time you read this on that game.  But there are plenty of -101, -101½ and -102 opportunities in NFL and college football when you play the low juice lines of these 2 sports books against each other.

This is a new age in low juice wagering and if you're not playing at Cascade Sportsbook and/or at Pinnacle Sportsbook, you're missing out on the low juice revolution.  If you don't play at these two books you might as well go join the lines of -110 losers who continue to bet football like it's 1999.

Good luck this weekend, - the Sportsbook Shark.
